Journey On relaxation

Well, first of all this exercise worked relaxing my tense body and I found it quite easy to manipulate blood flow from my abdomen to my arms and hands via suggestion by narrator. I didn’t know I could do those things so easily. We live in a world where we feel we have little control over our bodies, and so this knowledge has escaped us. Hypnotic in nature, this exercise has shown me that I can take control of my body functions to assist me in relaxing my mind, body and spirit whenever I need to. It showed me that my body and mind was already tense even though I just woke up. At the conclusion of the audio, I felt more at ease and ready to perform my daily duties! Great exercise and insightful to boot!

  1. Is't it crazy how that exercise actually worked with moving our blood to where we wanted?! It shocked me as well. I had no idea something like that was possible...the thought never crossed my mind. What a cool exercise. I did mine at night before bed and it was excellent for falling asleep right after. I hope we get more exercises like this! :)

  2. Hector, I felt the same way:) Actually when I was focusing on specific areas of my body they felt tingly and light. I really tried to use abdominal breathing so I could get the whole breath in. Amazing it only takes a few minutes in the day to feel so relaxed and ready to go:)

  3. Mind over Matter, my friend. I have read articles where this kind of technique was used to help speed up healing to an injury. It is really amazing what we can accomplish if we simply "put our minds to it".
